About the Role

As a Customer Champion Consultant within our Small Business Sales Team, you will play a crucial role in supporting local small business clients by providing expert guidance and solutions tailored to enhance their operations and facilitate growth. This hybrid position is based in either our Auckland City Wynyard Quarter office or Christchurch’s Otautahi CBD support center. You will assist customers via inbound and outbound phone calls and messaging, primarily focusing on Mobile and Broadband campaign join and leave intents. You will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring outstanding customer experiences and driving strong sales results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage One New Zealand's unmanaged business customer portfolio through proactive outbound calls and campaign management.
  • Boost product sales by effectively cross-selling additional products with high presentation rates.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences by resolving issues efficiently and addressing the business needs of customers, fostering long-term loyalty.
  • Increase customer lifetime value through upgrades involving devices and accessories.
  • Collaborate as part of a vital team, maintaining strong communication and executing marketing initiatives effectively.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Previous experience in sales and customer service, with a strong sales orientation balanced by a customer-first approach.
  • Excellent communication and active listening capabilities to engage customers, understand their needs, and build rapport.
  • Comfortable and confident using digital platforms and systems, with adaptability to new tools and technologies.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Resilience and flexibility to handle changing customer requirements and dynamic work environments.
  • Capability to handle multiple customer interactions across different platforms while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness.
