Overview

Join Nasdaq as a Business Development Representative to play a vital role in fueling new business growth for Nasdaq's Calypso platform. You will engage with financial institutions such as banks, capital markets firms, asset managers, insurance companies, and treasury organizations across the UK, Ireland, and South Africa.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve pipeline creation goals within your regional territory, supporting both local and global growth targets.
  • Implement account-based prospecting techniques to identify key stakeholders, business initiatives, and technology transformation opportunities at targeted financial institutions.
  • Generate qualified sales opportunities through outbound outreach, inbound lead assessment, event follow-ups, and collaboration with Marketing and Partner teams.
  • Utilize AI-powered sales tools and data platforms to enhance account prioritization, conduct prospect research, and personalize outreach efforts.
  • Work closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Solution Consultants to carry out coordinated account plans and advance pipeline development.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant area.
  • Have a minimum of two years' experience in business development, sales development, or generating enterprise sales pipelines.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a track record of engaging senior stakeholders in financial organizations.
  • Demonstrate the ability to research, qualify, and cultivate opportunities in complex enterprise settings.
  • Be proficient with CRM and sales engagement tools like Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

Preferred Credentials

  • Experience within financial technology, capital markets, treasury, risk management, or enterprise SaaS sectors.
  • Familiarity with account-based marketing/sales strategies and intelligence platforms such as 6sense or Cognism.
  • Experience using generative AI and automation tools to enhance research, personalization, and prospect engagement.

Work Arrangement

This role is based in London with a hybrid work schedule requiring at least three days per week in the office, offering flexibility and accessibility.
