About the Role

Nasdaq Technology seeks a dedicated Senior Specialist Full Stack Software Engineer to join its Mumbai Technology Center, focusing on AWS Cloud, Java, and React architectures. Core Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, test, and maintain complete software applications following the full software development life cycle.
• Collaborate intensively with both Mumbai-based peers and Nasdaq colleagues worldwide.
• Translate complex business requirements, gathered from analysts and stakeholders, into robust software solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, participate in design discussions, and maintain thorough documentation.
• Provide user support and training when required.

Required Skills and Experience

• Extensive experience (8-10 years) in Java programming and software development.
• Solid expertise in web technologies including JavaScript, React, and Single-Page Application development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Proficient with SQL databases, RESTful API design, Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with Linux environment and Bash scripting.
• Strong analytical skills to resolve complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Motivation to keep current with emerging technologies and industry standards.
• High attention to detail ensuring product quality and compliance with standards.
• Flexible and adaptable in fast-paced, changing environments.
• An interest in financial markets and related products.
• Relevant educational background in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Kotlin programming experience.
• Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms.
• Knowledge of Data Lakes and Data Warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with big data tools and frameworks.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Proficiency in container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
