Business Development Executive

About the Role

PhonePe is looking to recruit Field Sales / Business Development Executives tasked with engaging local merchants to adopt PhonePe's digital payment solutions. These positions involve fieldwork, requiring candidates to travel daily within assigned territories such as Siddharth Nagar, Itwa, Bansi, Naugarh, Shohratgarh, and Domariyaganj to foster business expansion and merchant onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

• Visiting merchants regularly to onboard them onto the PhonePe platform.
• Communicating the features, benefits, and services of PhonePe’s offerings to prospects.
• Meeting daily and monthly targets related to merchant acquisition and activation.
• Cultivating and sustaining merchant relationships to ensure ongoing engagement.
• Submitting daily reports of field activities through the PhonePe application.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum educational qualification of completing 12th grade.
• Ownership of a two-wheeler (Scooty/Bike) with all valid documentation including driving license.
• Possession of an Android smartphone for official work.
• Strong communication abilities and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to travel locally every day to reach merchants.

Working Environment and Benefits

• Full-time employment with PhonePe on a regular payroll.
• Work schedule is Monday through Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• Remuneration includes a fixed base pay of ₹16,000 to ₹17,000 per month.
• Performance-based incentives ranging approximately between ₹30,000 and ₹35,000 monthly.
