Business Development Associate

About the Role

Axis Bank is hiring Business Development Associates focused on acquiring new customers and expanding banking product sales, particularly related to Current and Savings Accounts (CASA). This is a full-time, field sales position based in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, offering a monthly salary range of ₹15,000 to ₹25,000 plus performance-based incentives.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and enroll new customers for CASA products through daily local field visits and lead generation activities.
• Introduce and explain various banking products and services to prospective clients.
• Engage with existing customers to promote and cross-sell additional financial products aligned with their needs.
• Participate in local marketing initiatives to boost lead generation and brand presence.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales targets assigned by the company.

Learning and Development

• Attend regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge, sales strategies, and compliance adherence.

Career Progression

The position offers clear advancement pathways from Sales Officer to higher roles such as Sales Officer 1 (Fast Track), Assistant Manager – Sales, and Sales Manager, based on performance metrics.
