Bus Driver

About the Role

Dussmann Ajlan & Bros is seeking a dedicated Bus Driver to join their team in Saudi Arabia. This role involves safely transporting employees, staff, and authorized personnel across various company locations including facilities, project sites, and accommodation zones. The driver will ensure timely and dependable transit services while strictly adhering to company policies, traffic rules, and health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate company buses safely to ferry employees and authorized individuals between designated locations following assigned routes and schedules.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections before and after trips to guarantee optimal operating conditions and report any mechanical faults or safety concerns.
• Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the assigned vehicle, promptly notifying supervisors of maintenance needs.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi traffic regulations, company transportation procedures, and health and safety guidelines.
• Enforce passenger adherence to transportation safety protocols and assist during boarding and disembarking.
• Maintain detailed records of trips, mileage, fuel use, and vehicle inspections.
• Immediately report any accidents, incidents, breakdowns, or violations to the relevant supervisor.
• Coordinate with Transportation or Facilities Management teams to optimize routes, schedules, and operational demands.
• Secure and park the vehicle properly when not in use.
• Support additional transportation needs during project mobilization, events, and related Facilities Management activities as required.
• Carry out other transportation-related tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Technical Knowledge and Experience

• Expertise in safe and defensive driving, with thorough awareness of Saudi traffic laws and regulations.
• Capability to conduct thorough vehicle inspections and identify basic mechanical or safety issues.
• Experience with transportation procedures, route planning, vehicle safety stipulations, and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate transportation records including trips, fuel consumption, and vehicle inspections.
• At least two years of experience as a bus driver, preferably within Facilities Management, transportation, or construction industries.
• Prior experience transporting groups or employees is considered advantageous.
• Familiarity with vehicle inspection and transportation record-keeping systems.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Possession of a valid Saudi driving license with the bus category relevant to the vehicle assigned.
