About the Role
Join Queensland Rail as a Bridgeworker specializing in structures and civil labor, playing a vital role in maintaining and repairing infrastructure including steel, timber, and concrete bridges, along with certain drainage systems. This role is field-based, requiring adaptability to various weather conditions and comfort working at heights. The position aims to ensure adherence to safe work practices and quality standards.

Work Details
- Positions located in Townsville and Ayr within the Townsville Structures team
- Part of the Northern Network Operations responsible for maintaining rail network safety and reliability
- Work roster comprises 9 days on duty followed by 5 days off
- Salary package offering over $85,000 annually plus 12.75% superannuation
Candidate Requirements
- Current open class driver’s licence
- Recent experience in labouring or track assistant roles
- Strong safety-focused mindset
- Comfortable with working at heights
