  • A 9-day fortnight schedule (working Monday to Friday in summer and Monday to Thursday in winter)
  • Working hours range from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM in summer and 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM in winter

Role Responsibilities

  • Support the maintenance and repair of railway tracks in Hughenden and surrounding areas
  • Perform heavy manual labour tasks such as replacing railway sleepers and flood repair work
  • Participate in emergency track maintenance activities when required
  • Ensure all duties are conducted safely and efficiently while working outdoors in demanding weather conditions and high temperatures
