BIM Coordinator – Infrastructure

Role Overview

We are looking for an assertive BIM Coordinator to oversee and synchronize Building Information Modeling procedures in infrastructure-related projects. This role involves ensuring the accuracy of models, performing clash detection, and enabling efficient collaboration among various disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage BIM models integrating architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines
• Perform clash detection and coordination assessments using BIM tools such as Navisworks
• Guarantee adherence of models to the project's BIM Execution Plans and standards
• Assist the BIM Manager in enforcing BIM workflows and procedures
• Maintain quality control over models and manage versioning effectively
• Engage with design teams and construction contractors to resolve identified technical issues within the models

Candidate Requirements

• Graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or allied disciplines
• Demonstrated experience in BIM coordination specifically for infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in software such as Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud
• Comprehensive understanding of clash detection techniques and multidisciplinary coordination
• Familiarity with BIM standards, with preference for ISO 19650 knowledge
• Excellent analytical and communication capabilities
