BIM Coordinator

About the Role

We seek a proficient BIM Coordinator to become part of a leading construction team based in Dublin. This permanent full-time position involves facilitating Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes throughout all project stages, from tender and pre-construction phases to delivery and handover. The professional will collaborate closely with design teams and stakeholders to produce, manage, and harmonize high-quality digital models and project information, ultimately aiding smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing, updating, and coordinating BIM models adhering to project protocols and standards.
• Implementing BIM workflows following ISO 19650 Parts 1 & 2: 2018 standards.
• Ensuring all models and data meet client specifications and Exchange Information Requirements (EIRs).
• Producing and managing project documentation and digital deliverables.
• Performing audits and verification for model accuracy, including health checks.
• Coordinating multidisciplinary models and assisting with clash detection through tools such as Navisworks.
• Reporting modelling conflicts, issues, and information needs effectively.
• Managing project data within a Common Data Environment (CDE).
• Supporting preparation of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), Master Information Delivery Plans (MIDPs), and related documentation.
• Participating in coordination meetings and workshops to discuss BIM-related topics.
• Assisting with BIM audits, implementation of standards, and adoption of new digital technologies.
• Creating 2D and 3D outputs including drawings, schedules, visualizations, and asset information.
• Collaborating efficiently with design, construction, and project teams.
• Supporting digital delivery of projects from start to handover.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of two years' experience in BIM, CAD, or related digital construction roles.
• Academic qualifications such as a Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, BIM, or similar fields.
• Strong knowledge of BIM methodologies and ISO 19650 standards compliance.
• High proficiency with Revit software.
• Experience using Navisworks for coordination and clash detection.
• Familiarity with additional BIM tools is an advantage.
• Experience managing projects through Common Data Environments (CDEs).
• Meticulous attention to detail and a dedication to quality work.
