Role Overview

The BIM Coordinator's primary duty is to manage and synchronize multidisciplinary BIM models, ensuring their precision throughout the project lifecycle. This role supports project teams by maintaining compliance with project requirements and the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), while facilitating coordination and communication among various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously maintain and refresh coordinated BIM models during the entirety of projects.
• Coordinate models across multiple disciplines and resolve conflicts using Navisworks and BIM 360 tools.
• Manage the creation, updating, and coordination of models in line with the BEP and project specifications.
• Lead and participate in BIM coordination meetings with project stakeholders.
• Effectively communicate any model modifications and coordination needs to project teams and subcontractors.
• Align BIM models with site activities and project needs, including 4D and 5D BIM workflows when required.
• Create and maintain accurate as-built models and integrate pertinent project documentation.
• Offer technical assistance and fundamental guidance on BIM software and procedures.
• Ensure all BIM models and deliverables comply with company, project, and industry standards.
• Assist project teams in keeping BIM documentation precise and current.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch.) or Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
• Minimum of four years' experience in BIM coordination and managing models.
• Practical skills in Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of BIM workflows and project documentation.
• Proven ability to coordinate across disciplines and resolve clashes.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with architects, engineers, project teams, and subcontractors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with BIM projects based in India or internationally.
• Familiarity with BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
• Knowledge of 4D and 5D BIM processes.
• Experience preparing as-built models and handling project documentation.
