Role Overview and Modules

This position focuses on the administration of multiple BigFix modules, including the BigFix Platform, Patch, Lifecycle (for Software Distribution), Inventory (BFI), Compliance (SCA), and Insights for Vulnerability Remediation (IVR) along with Plugin Management.

Key Responsibilities and Technical Expertise

• Manage and administer the HCL BigFix environment effectively.
• Execute patch management, compliance monitoring, inventory tracking, and software deployment tasks using BigFix modules.
• Handle BigFix DSA architecture, WebUI navigation, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Cloud Plugin configurations.
• Develop and maintain custom content using Action Script and Relevance Language to enhance BigFix functionalities.
• Apply knowledge of vulnerability remediation techniques and uphold security compliance standards.
• Utilize scripting abilities in PowerShell and Shell to automate tasks and improve system management.
• Conduct troubleshooting, creation of detailed reports, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
