Job Overview
We seek a seasoned Linux Administrator with strong expertise in Windows and Linux system administration, particularly focusing on endpoint management and compliance governance within enterprise environments. The position requires proficiency in managing software assets and ensuring adherence to Software Operational Environment (SOE) frameworks and CIS Benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough software inventories and perform software rationalization across both Windows and Linux platforms.
- Establish and manage the Software Centre framework, including software approval workflows and software baseline whitelists.
- Detect unauthorized, unsupported, or end-of-life software and oversee remediation actions as necessary.
Essential Skills and Expertise
- Demonstrated mastery in Windows and Linux administration at an expert level.
- Experience with SCCM or comparable endpoint management tools.
- Familiarity with CIS Benchmarks and SOE compliance frameworks.
- Knowledge of Software Asset Management (SAM) and governance practices is advantageous.
- Effective communication abilities to facilitate governance processes and coordination.
