BI/Data Engineer

About the Role

We seek a BI/Data Engineer to form the technical foundation of our Data Platform, facilitating the transformation of raw data into trusted, actionable formats that empower self-service analytics and future innovation across departments.

Key Responsibilities

You will architect and develop data pipelines, dimensional models, and semantic layers that underpin reporting, analytics, and emerging AI capabilities. Supporting Power BI and analytics development, you will also guide technical direction as we evolve our Data and AI strategies, ensuring consistent best practices and cross-functional collaboration. Your role includes translating technical data concepts into accessible insights for non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated proficiency as a data engineer or BI developer with expertise in dimensional modeling and data warehousing.
• Strong command of advanced SQL and skills in pipeline and query optimization.
• Experience development and management of semantic layers that convert data models into business-relevant metrics.
• Knowledge and application of data governance and quality standards.
• Exceptional communication abilities to engage and educate non-technical audiences.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Additional expertise with Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, Coalesce, Power BI, or predictive analytics using Python or R is advantageous. Above all, a growth mindset and authentic passion for rigorous data practices are highly valued.
