Overview
Join Foster + Partners as a Bid Manager and play a pivotal role in securing innovative projects worldwide. This role involves close collaboration with partners, architects, engineers, and the communications team to craft persuasive bids, proposals, and presentations highlighting the firm's prestigious portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage prominent bids and proposals aimed at winning landmark projects globally.
- Develop winning strategies and shape impactful submission narratives.
- Work collaboratively with senior architects, engineers, project managers, and partners throughout the practice.
- Produce precise and high-quality bid documentation using Adobe InDesign, templates, or MS Word within tight deadlines.
- Coordinate contributions from architects, engineers, and project teams to deliver compelling responses to OJEU, RFPs, RFQs, and tenders.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in bid management within design, architecture, or professional services sectors.
- Outstanding writing, editing, and communication abilities to create clear, engaging, and persuasive content.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- A motivated and proactive approach, with confidence to build and nurture relationships at all organizational levels.
- Exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in Adobe InDesign, committed to delivering consistently high-grade bid materials.
- Ability to analyze complex data from varied sources and formulate clear, persuasive arguments.
- Interest in architecture, design, and the built environment; fluency in additional languages is advantageous.
