Key Responsibilities

• Operate the till system efficiently ensuring accurate transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar station at all times.
• Prepare mise en place for service, including setting tables, stocking stations, and preparing tea and coffee to uphold service standards.
• Handle crockery, cutlery, and glassware carefully — cleaning, polishing, and storing them properly to reduce breakages and maintain high standards.
• Take orders accurately according to The Heritage's standards while promoting and recommending products to maximize sales.
• Deliver a professional and friendly image to guests, offering prompt and attentive assistance.
• Anticipate guest needs to enhance the quality of service and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate flexibly with colleagues, helping across the hotel to meet business and guest needs.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of all available beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.
• Be familiar with food offerings and menu details to assist guests appropriately.
• Discreetly address guest complaints and inform the manager on duty when necessary.
• Actively promote sales within the bar department.
