Bartender

About the Role

The Hodson Bay Hotel is seeking a cordial and customer-oriented Bartender to join their team. While previous bartender experience is advantageous, we are also eager to welcome candidates with some background in Food and Beverage who are keen to develop new skills in bartending.

This position requires flexibility, including availability on weekdays and weekends, with options for part-time or full-time hours across varied shifts including afternoons, evenings, and late nights.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages efficiently while handling cash and performing other related tasks.
• Maintain strict hygiene standards during service periods.
• Support other Food & Beverage outlets during peak times.
• Adhere strictly to the Responsible Sale of Alcohol policy.
• Deliver outstanding customer service as part of a dedicated team.

Candidate Profile

• Preferably at least one year of bartending experience in a busy bar environment, although training will be provided for newcomers.
• Familiarity with drinks and cocktails is preferred.
• Availability for mid-week and weekend shifts is essential.
• Excellent communication and customer service capabilities.
• Ability to take initiative and anticipate customer needs.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting.
