Role Summary
We are seeking a Baker responsible for making our signature bagels and pastries starting early in the morning, often as early as 3 AM. Bakers play a crucial role in ensuring the availability of fresh bakery items by stocking displays, supporting customer orders, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake bagels and pastries from scratch according to company standards.
- Stock bagel walls and pastry cases to ensure customers have fresh selections throughout the day.
- Collaborate with the team to assist with order taking and sandwich preparation as needed.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area following food safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Willingness to work varied schedules including early mornings (starting as early as 3 AM), weekends, and business-dictated hours.
- Successful completion of background checks aligned with applicable laws.
- Possession of a valid state driver's license is preferred or required at certain locations, along with meeting company driving policies.
