Role Summary
The Shift Leader acts as the key support to the General Manager by uplifting team spirit and ensuring excellent customer service. This role involves leading by example, coaching team members, and managing store operations including opening and closing with minimal supervision. Shift Leaders help maintain the quality of food and beverages and ensure a safe, clean environment. This position offers opportunities for career growth within the company, as many General Managers began as Shift Leaders.

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Availability to work varied shifts including early mornings as early as 3am and weekends
- Ability to pass background checks in accordance with laws
- Must obtain ServSafe Certification before completing leadership training
- Valid state driver's license preferred or required depending on location, meeting company driving standards
- Eligibility for tips depends on state regulations
