Job description
Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified B1 Instructor specialized in H145 helicopter maintenance to join Airbus Helicopters Arabia. The role involves delivering technical training, supervising trainees, and developing training material consistent with aviation standards and company policies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of a Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance or completion of a recognized aviation training program with at least 2 years duration.
- Possession of an EASA Part 66 or FAA license is preferred.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in H145 maintenance, gathered through military or civilian work environments.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a technical instructor.
- Holding a type rating for the H145 helicopter from an OEM-approved organization is required.
- Proven experience in developing and delivering on-the-job training curricula catering to both novice and advanced maintenance technicians.
- Skill in creating instructional aids such as charts, graphs, handouts, and presentation slides to enhance technical training effectiveness.
- Experience in supervising new technicians through training assessments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to maintain training documentation following PSS/GSAC standards.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience in technical writing and a Level-7 qualification in logistics, maintenance, or training-related specialties.
- Must hold an instructor qualification from a recognized institution.
- For non-native English speakers: IELTS score of at least 6.0 or equivalent, or English proficiency assessed during the PSS/GSAC interview.
Mandatory Conditions
- All qualifications and experience claims must be substantiated with official documentation.
- Candidates must successfully pass the PSS/GSAC interview, conducted either in person or online.
- Security clearance from the Saudi Arabian government is required before employment.
