About Red Sea Sports & Entertainment
Red Sea Sports & Entertainment (RSSE), a subsidiary of Red Sea Global, specializes in delivering premium land and marine adventure experiences at The Red Sea destination. RSSE manages a variety of sports, adventure, and leisure offerings including water sports through Galaxea, various adventure activities via Akun, and leisure experiences provided by WAMA. The organization collaborates with the Saudi Olympic & Paralympic Committee to promote accessible and world-class sports and recreational activities aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 and the Kingdom's regenerative tourism goals.
Role Purpose
The Dive Center Instructor is based on-site and dedicated to two primary objectives: leading dive excursions and teaching diving courses. This role supports the Dive Center Manager in ensuring the smooth daily operation of dive activities and underwater tourism projects. The instructor guarantees that all dive-related activities uphold safety, professionalism, and the high standards of the dive center, including representing the retail outlet and supporting sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Dive Center Manager in daily operations and development of dive centers across assets.
- Conduct diving courses at or above PADI standards and lead dive trips.
- Collaborate with Sustainability and SEZ departments to address environmental concerns related to marine tourism.
- Contribute to dive center setup during pre-opening phases, coordinating with various Red Sea Global departments to meet project milestones.
- Maintain dive center appearance and operations to the highest safety and professional standards post-opening.
- Keep accurate records of all teaching activities and ensure compliance with training agency standards.
- Assist with retail sales and build effective relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Apply and adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and safety regulations to ensure controlled and consistent dive center management.
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, environmental practices, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience
- Active and renewed PADI Instructor certification with a minimum of 500 logged dives.
- Certified to teach at least 5 PADI specialty courses and have certified at least 50 students across all core courses.
- Proven background in dive business operations, hospitality, health & safety, equipment management, and dive retail.
- Experience diving in diverse geographic locations and a strong understanding of marine conservation.
- Possession of a Fit to Dive Medical clearance.

- Fluency in written and spoken English with excellent communication and public speaking skills.
- Customer-service oriented with a proactive, flexible approach.
- Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional dive experiences.
- Knowledge of dive guiding and equipment maintenance.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong time management and leadership abilities.
- Ability to interact effectively with diverse cultures and high-end clientele, handling requests and complaints with professionalism.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and confidentiality-aware.
- Interest and aptitude in marine science, research, conservation, and education.
- Able to prepare engaging guest briefings and assist with dive center administration and planning.
Desirable Skills
- Additional language proficiency, preferably Arabic.
- Skills in social media content creation and underwater photography/videography.
- Ability to identify various marine species and perform workshop technician duties for dive equipment.
