Attendant - Shipping & Receiving

Position Overview

This role involves efficiently managing the receipt, unloading, processing, and distribution of deliveries while ensuring accuracy and security compliance. It includes verifying incoming shipments against invoices and reports, staging and delivering merchandise to departments, and handling outgoing mail and packages.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and unload delivered goods, accounting for all incoming freight through invoice and receiving report reconciliation.
• Organize and label merchandise by department for proper placement within the facility, delivering it accordingly.
• Verify and track inventory, maintaining updated inventory reports and logs.
• Reconcile shipping invoices and receiving documents to guarantee accuracy of shipments.
• Handle all incoming and outgoing department packages and mail, ensuring secure storage and safekeeping within the receiving area.
• Adhere to national, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous material shipment.
• Deliver outgoing mail and shipments, verifying package condition and quantity before guest delivery.
• Communicate effectively with guests about received packages and manage package tracking, including obtaining guest signatures upon delivery.
• Promptly report any loss, damage, accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management.
• Maintain company standards for personal appearance, confidentiality of information, and asset protection.
• Respond to guest service needs professionally and promptly, maintaining clear communication using proper etiquette.
• Perform physical activities such as lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects up to 50 pounds without assistance, as well as navigating confined or uneven spaces.
• Perform additional reasonable tasks as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Minimum education requirement: high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• No prior related work or supervisory experience necessary.
• No licenses or certifications required.

The position is located in the Central Area District North of Al Masjid Al Nabawi, Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, non-management role requiring onsite presence.
