Role Overview
This position focuses on comprehensive expertise in Air Traffic Management (ATM) operations and supporting systems, participating in global ATM initiatives, and being deeply familiar with key stakeholders including ANSPs, regulators, and agencies worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain awareness of long-term operational trends and essential developments from industry suppliers.
- Participate in international ATM forums and conferences to broaden understanding of diverse ATM stakeholders and innovations.
- Bring ATM training experience along with an understanding of instructors’ requirements as well as expertise in ATM system definition, development, testing, and acceptance.
- Act as Customer Advocate for Future ATM Operational Value by collaborating on trend assessments, use case evaluations, and concept of operations development for ATC.
- Create, refine, and manage ATC user stories ensuring clarity, feasibility, and testability.
- Support demonstration, testing, and continuous improvement of operational components.
- Deliver ATM awareness training to team members and provide daily operational concept guidance, supplementing input from CAAS.
- Lead workshops from operational perspectives and document CAAS’s future system vision.
- Assess and validate operational benefits of use cases within the AIR Lab environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong understanding of ANSP and ATM system deployment environments.
- Experience with software development, testing, and validation platforms related to ATM, including real-time and safety-critical systems.
- Demonstrated experience working within Agile teams and a solid grasp of Agile methodologies.
- Exhibit quick learning ability, teamwork aptitude, and a collaborative mindset to solve complex problems and streamline solutions.
