Role Overview
The Regulatory Compliance Advisory team focuses on servicing MAS-regulated financial entities, chiefly Capital Market Services License holders focused on fund management services.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and enhance clients' compliance functions after MAS licensing by developing customized compliance manuals and monitoring frameworks.
- Provide expert advice on evolving regulatory obligations and respond to client requests involving compliance inquiries.
- Conduct regulatory compliance assessments consistent with MAS standards and expectations.
- Oversee various projects impacting clients or the broader industry, including shifts in regulations, tax benefits, and investment or technology initiatives.
- Prepare regulatory documentation aligned with MAS risk-based capital requirements and communicate updates effectively to clients.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses 1 to 2 years of experience in regulatory compliance, auditing, or legal roles within financial services, although fresh graduates are considered.
- Knowledgeable about Singapore's Securities and Futures Act and MAS Notices and Guidelines pertinent to fund management firms.
- Demonstrated capability in managing relationships with diverse stakeholders such as clients, senior leaders, and internal teams.
- Exemplifies a proactive mindset, rapid learning ability, and adaptability to changing conditions.
- Proficient in spoken and written English; business-level proficiency in Chinese is advantageous.
