Associate Manager - Distributor Inventory Management (VMI/CMI)

About the Role

We are seeking an Associate Manager to lead the Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) and Customer Managed Inventory (CMI) replenishment operations at Nestlé's KSA Head Office in Jeddah. This key position acts as the main liaison with VMI/CMI customers ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to service agreements throughout the entire replenishment cycle.

Responsibilities

• Generate balanced and optimized replenishment orders within Nestlé and customer systems using sales history, forecast data, and inventory status at both Nestlé and customer distribution centers.
• Manage technical VMI solutions including data upkeep and alignment between Nestlé and customer platforms.
• Perform advanced analytics to evaluate customer demand trends and potential stock shortages, applying forecasting and replenishment methods to enhance sales and stock levels.
• Engage proactively with customers to resolve stock replenishment issues and provide timely, accurate information supporting customer stock management.
• Implement operational strategies to allocate stock effectively based on business and customer priorities.
• Collaborate with logistics, demand and supply planning, transportation, and analytics teams to drive distribution cost efficiencies, maintaining network parameters such as lead times and delivery expectations.

Requirements

• University degree is required.
• 2 to 4 years’ experience in order fulfillment, VMI/CMI operations, or supply chain roles within a comparable market.
• Experience working with or representing customers in a VMI/CMI collaborative environment is a distinct advantage.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, customer service standards, and logistics including material handling and transport optimization.
• Familiarity with demand planning, supply chain finance, and pricing methods.
• Participation in supply chain improvement initiatives is preferred.

Salary and Benefits: The monthly base salary ranges from SAR 12,000 to 20,000, supplemented typically by housing allowance, medical coverage, and performance bonuses, offering an attractive total remuneration package.
