Job Overview
Raytheon Saudi Arabia is hiring an Associate Director for Contracts to spearhead strategic leadership in contract and commercial management for its Saudi Arabia programs and business ventures. This role entails directing contractual, compliance, governance, and client engagement efforts while collaborating closely with executive leadership, project teams, and governmental bodies.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee contracts and commercial functions throughout multiple projects and business pursuits.
- Lead the contract lifecycle activities, including negotiation, review, administration, amendments, and compliance monitoring.
- Provide expert advice to program and business leaders regarding contractual risks, pricing considerations, proposals, and key business decisions.
- Maintain active communication channels with the Saudi Ministry of Defense, government agencies, and strategic collaborators.
- Manage all aspects of customer correspondence and stakeholder interactions.
- Ensure adherence to corporate policies, customer standards, and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Support governance measures, audit processes, risk management, and continuous operational improvements.
- Administer translation services critical to contract, technical, and commercial documentation.
- Contribute to localization efforts, industrial participation programs, strategic growth strategies, and routine business operations.
- Develop and guide a dedicated Contracts and Translation team located in Riyadh and Jeddah.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional credential complemented by 12 years of pertinent experience.
- Background in defense, aerospace, government sectors, or other strictly regulated industries.
- Proven experience managing complex contract negotiations and customer agreements.
- Proficient in engaging with government clients and senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities including mentoring and staff development.
- Strong skills in negotiation, communication, and relationship management.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively within an international dynamic environment.
- Business insight aligned with profitability, risk mitigation, and cash collection goals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications in contracts, law, commercial management, finance, or business disciplines.
- Experience in Saudi Arabia or broader Middle East markets.
- Familiarity with Saudi government procurement and regulatory frameworks.
- Background in defense program support, Foreign Military Sales, or government contract management.
- Experience with localization initiatives, industrial participation, and strategic alliances.
- Expertise in governance, compliance, or translation leadership roles.
- Program management expertise.
Work Environment
This position requires working on-site at Raytheon Saudi Arabia's headquarters situated in Riyadh.
