Assistant Store Manager

About the Role

Mountain Warehouse in Blenheim, Marlborough, New Zealand, is seeking a motivated Assistant Store Manager to work alongside the Store Manager in driving the store's success. This role involves leading daily operations, managing and inspiring the sales team, and ensuring excellent customer experiences that align with the Mountain Warehouse brand.

• Maintain superior visual merchandising and store housekeeping for an excellent shopping atmosphere.
• Prioritize health and safety by conducting routine risk assessments to provide a secure environment.
• Assist in recruitment and retention of skilled team members to sustain a motivated workforce.
• Support achievement of sales targets and enhance profitability with effective strategies.
• Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to maintain store success.
• Manage stock levels to ensure smooth inventory replenishment and accurate deliveries.
• Implement loss prevention methods to safeguard store profits.
• Lead customer service efforts by example, promptly addressing feedback to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
• Represent the company professionally and enthusiastically in all interactions.
• Engage with the local community to foster a welcoming shopping environment.
