This exciting opportunity allows you to support our experienced Store Manager in leading store operations, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and contributing to the success of a fast-growing flooring retailer with a reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the store team to consistently exceed customer expectations and create memorable shopping experiences.
• Act as deputy for the Store Manager, overseeing all store operations when required.
• Assist in managing sales targets and inspire the team to drive performance and motivation.
• Support staff training and development, ensuring they embody the "Tapi difference" in service delivery.
• Help onboard new employees as part of the induction process alongside the Store Manager.
• Achieve and strive to surpass personal sales goals through effective sales techniques.
• Maintain the store’s presentation and actively participate in promotional initiatives.
• Manage customer complaints professionally and diplomatically to ensure positive outcomes.
• Continuously seek improvements that benefit customers, colleagues, and the wider Tapi business.
• Use Tapi’s technology systems accurately for customer order processing and record-keeping.
• Adhere rigorously to all Health, Safety, and Security protocols established by Tapi.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a natural ability to engage and sell to customers, aiming to meet and exceed targets consistently.
• Self-driven, enthusiastic, and an inspiring team leader who motivates colleagues through example.
• Balanced focus on sales and customer service, using consultative sales methods to build trust and comfort with customers.
• Good judgment and confidence to handle challenging conversations thoughtfully and effectively.
• Acts as a brand ambassador, consistently exemplifying the "Tapi difference" in all customer interactions.
• Comfortable with technology and store systems or willing to learn quickly.
• Flexible approach to work schedules, prioritizing store needs and customer service delivery.
