As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be essential in delivering superior consumer experiences and exceptional service daily. This role involves managing all opening and closing operations, training team members on product details and promotions, and driving sales targets to meet company objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service using the C.H.A.R.M. service model.
- Foster a positive team atmosphere where suggestions and ideas are freely exchanged.
- Coordinate, delegate, prioritize, and track daily store activities to meet deadlines.
- Learn and assist across store departments including customer service, merchandise knowledge, visual merchandising, and stockroom operations.
- Support retail operations such as POINT OF SALE system use, stock replenishment, pricing, markdowns, loyalty program promotions, and maintain store cleanliness and organization.
- Lead by example and collaborate closely with Store Management to enhance sales performance and key metrics.
- Adhere strictly to company Asset Protection policies, including inventory control, shortage prevention, and compliance.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Preferably holds A Level, SSCE, Diploma, or higher qualifications.
- At least 4 years of retail experience, with preference for candidates who have held leadership roles in stores.
- Strong leadership capabilities with enthusiasm for motivating and driving team success.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with store staff, management, and corporate partners.
- Available to work on a rotating shift schedule including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Email; capable of operating retail point of sale systems.
- Motivated to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced retail setting.
- Physical ability to handle job requirements including climbing ladders with merchandise and lifting 15 kg or more with assistance daily.
