Role Overview

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager at our Toowoomba Red Edge location, you will play a vital role in supporting daily operations and aiding the Restaurant Manager in driving excellence across customer experience, team culture, and financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead efficient daily operations and guide the restaurant team to success.
• Support team management including recruiting, onboarding, training, conducting performance evaluations, scheduling, and handling employee issues or grievances.
• Ensure all food products are prepared, presented, and served to the highest quality standards.
• Assist with stock ordering from multiple suppliers to maintain inventory.
• Handle administrative tasks such as paperwork, banking, managing cash, payroll, and reviewing operational policies.
• Oversee cleaning and maintenance of production areas, dining spaces, and the entire restaurant regularly.
• Maintain compliance with safety and security protocols and provide effective Workplace Health and Safety training to staff.
