Role Overview
The Assistant Project Manager position is a full-time role located in Mecca, offering a hybrid working arrangement with partial remote work allowed. This role involves supporting the entire project lifecycle for initiatives related to software, web, and digital products. Key duties include coordinating schedules, managing resources, and facilitating communication between internal departments and external partners. Responsibilities encompass assisting with project planning, monitoring timelines and milestones, following up on outstanding tasks, and ensuring that deliverables align with quality standards and client requirements.
The role also involves managing project documentation, generating status updates, assisting with tracking risks and issues, and organizing meetings to ensure projects remain on track and within defined scope. Close collaboration with design, development, and operations teams is essential, along with maintaining professional, clear communication with customers and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Proven abilities in project coordination and support, with knowledge or experience in project management methodologies.
- Competence in vendor and supplier management, including expediting workflow and follow-up.
- Understanding of quality assurance processes and inspection protocols.
- Familiarity with logistics management to aid in scheduling, resource allocation, and delivery coordination.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent time management, attention to detail, and the capacity to prioritize multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills suitable for cross-functional collaboration and client engagement.
- Experience working with project management and collaboration tools such as spreadsheets, task tracking software, and document management platforms.
- A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, information technology, or related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Exposure to software development, digital products, or technology services within the MENA region is considered an asset.
