Role Overview

The User Experience Designer position is full-time and primarily based in Jiddah, offering a hybrid working setup with some remote flexibility. The professional will be responsible for planning and executing user research, translating insights into detailed user journeys, wireframes, and interactive prototypes, and working closely with product managers, developers, and visual designers. Key tasks include employing design thinking techniques, refining interaction models, and ensuring that digital solutions are user-friendly, accessible, and aligned with strategic business objectives. The designer will also engage in design reviews, integrate feedback, and uphold consistent design standards across projects.

Key Qualifications

  • Solid grounding in human-centered design methodologies including Design Thinking and User Experience principles.
  • Proficiency in user research techniques like interviews, surveys, usability testing, and transforming results into actionable insights.
  • Expertise in visual design fundamentals including layout, typography, color theory, and managing design systems.
  • Capability to develop and refine prototyping artifacts such as wireframes, interactive prototypes, and user flow diagrams.
  • Experience using contemporary design and prototyping software such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation abilities to articulate and defend design decisions to multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong focus on detail, analytic problem-solving skills, and autonomous working capacity within a hybrid setup.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or an equivalent practical background.
  • Familiarity with design projects for web and mobile products either in agency or product-driven contexts in the MENA region is advantageous.
