Job description
Role Overview
As an Assistant Nightfill Manager, you will support the daily operations of your department, playing a critical role in ensuring customers have a positive shopping experience and team members work in an engaging environment. This position offers a gateway to leadership within retail, supported by a structured Store Leadership Pathway to develop key skills and capabilities.
Shift Patterns
Two roster options are available:
- Option 1: Tuesday to Sunday, from 2:30 PM or 2:00 PM until 11:00 PM
- Option 2: Tuesday to Friday, from 2:30 PM until 11:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere where team members can be authentic while delivering excellent shopping experiences to customers.
- Learn and exercise leadership, supporting the department team daily and collaborating with store-wide teams.
- Adhere to, and promote, safety standards to protect both the team and customers.
- Work with others to achieve store goals through cooperative efforts.
Requirements and Skills
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for engaging customers through the Everyday ACTs of Acknowledge, Care & Thank.
- Strong commitment to following safety processes within the store environment.
- Willingness to understand department functions and provide dependable support on a daily basis.
- Capacity to collaborate effectively across teams.
