About the Role

Panda Express is seeking experienced individuals to join their store management team as an Assistant Manager. This role involves supporting the daily operations of a single restaurant location, including hiring, supervising, and guiding team members to meet financial targets and deliver outstanding guest service. To equip you for success, Panda offers a comprehensive paid leadership training course lasting three or more weeks, along with ongoing mentorship and community support.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing store operations effectively to achieve financial goals.
• Recruit, manage, and lead associates, fostering a positive team environment.

• Participate actively in a store leadership training program for skill development.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A high school diploma is mandatory.
• Flexibility to relocate to another store within a 50-mile radius if needed.
• Availability for a flexible schedule covering opening and closing shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business demands.
• Food Safety certification such as Serve Safe is required.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

• Workstations often involve hot environments with steam and food vapors.
• Extended periods of standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and reaching across standard counter heights are expected.
• Employees must prepare various foods, utilize kitchen tools including Chinese cook knives, and perform efficiently without compromising accuracy.
• The role requires verbal communication skills, adaptability to a dynamic work setting, and the capacity to manage workplace conflicts.
