Job description
Job Overview
This role is responsible for implementing and maintaining quality management systems including IATF 16949, ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and adhering to customer-specific standards. The Assistant Manager will lead both internal and support external audits, ensuring corrective actions are completed effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and enforce quality systems compliance.
- Lead internal audits and assist with external audits including customer and third-party evaluations.
- Serve as the primary contact for handling customer complaints and quality issues.
- Conduct defect root cause analysis using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone Diagram, driving corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation and liaise with customers for approvals.
- Manage and supervise the Quality Control team for in-process, pre-dispatch, and final inspections.
- Ensure that products conform to technical drawings and process standards.
- Track process capability and defect trends, implementing improvements as needed.
- Handle incoming inspection processes and vendor quality assurance.
- Develop and audit suppliers to guarantee component quality for wires, terminals, connectors, tapes, etc.
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality inspection reports, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), audit findings, control plans, PFMEA, and work instructions.
- Compile and present weekly and monthly quality performance reports to management.
Additional Information
Monthly compensation offered falls between 35000 and 40000 INR.
