Assistant Manager - M&S

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Cafe Manager passionate about delivering outstanding food quality and exceptional customer service. In this role, you will oversee catering and service functions for a premier High Street brand under Compass Group UK&I. This is a full-time position, with a work pattern of 40 hours per week across 5 days out of 7.

Responsibilities

• Act as the communication bridge between the team and management to continuously exceed service expectations.
• Inspire and motivate the team to maintain focus and achieve operational goals.
• Assist the manager in inventory control, budget monitoring, and execution of action plans.
• Manage payment processing and till operations efficiently.
• Provide support and training to staff, leading by example to help individuals excel.
• Handle administrative paperwork as needed.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I professionally, maintaining a positive brand reputation.
