About the Role

Join Panda Express as an Assistant Manager and become part of a leading family-owned Asian restaurant brand committed to the growth and success of its associates. In this role, you will support the management of a single store, helping to hire, lead, and manage staff to accomplish financial targets while delivering outstanding guest experiences. Comprehensive leadership training lasting three or more weeks will be provided to prepare you thoroughly.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day operations and management of a store.
• Participate in recruiting, training, supervising, and directing team members.
• Ensure achievement of store financial goals.
• Uphold excellent customer service standards consistently.

Requirements & Qualifications

• High school diploma is mandatory.
• Flexibility to relocate within a 50-mile radius if necessary.
• Availability to work varied schedules including opening/closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
• Certification in food safety (Serve Safe) required.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

The role involves working in a fast-paced kitchen environment that can be hot and noisy, requiring standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds. Tasks include food preparation using kitchen equipment such as Chinese cook knives, managing high shelves, and adapting to dynamic priorities with effective communication and conflict management skills.
