Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager, you will support the operation of a single store. Your duties include overseeing hiring, directing store associates, and striving to meet financial objectives while ensuring excellent guest service. Success in your store is your responsibility. A comprehensive training program of at least three weeks will be provided to prepare you for this role.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of a high school diploma
• Flexibility to relocate to any store within a 50-mile radius
• Availability for a flexible schedule that may include opening/closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays, adjusted to business demands
• Certification in Food Safety, such as Serve Safe

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Employees must be prepared to work in warm environments with exposure to steam and food vapors. Standing for extended periods and using kitchen tools including Chinese cook knives is required. The position involves lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for up to four hours at a time, and reaching across countertops. The kitchen environment is fast-paced, noisy, and may have limited space with high shelving. Effective verbal communication, adaptability, and conflict management skills are necessary.

Salary

The position offers hourly pay ranging from $24 to $27. Actual pay depends on factors such as location and experience. Bonus programs are discretionary and may be changed or discontinued at any time without notice.
