A Day In The Life Of An Assistant Manager

• Build strong connections with regular patrons and team members to foster a friendly atmosphere.
• Assist the Publican with smooth, safe, and efficient pub operations.
• Gain experience in publican responsibilities while managing a dedicated hospitality team.
• Proactively resolve minor issues before they escalate.
• Maintain high energy, excellent service, and a positive attitude throughout each shift.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in roles within bar, bistro, or gaming room settings, preferably with some supervisory duties.
• Aspiring to advance management skills and take on leadership responsibility.
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills, ready to represent the pub in the Publican's absence.
• Possession of current required certifications including RSA/RSG, RMLV, and an Approved Managers Licence per state regulations.

Physical Requirements

• The role includes physical tasks such as manual handling, lifting stock, kegs, and deliveries, necessitating the capacity to perform these safely and effectively.
