About the Role

Panda Express seeks motivated and skilled individuals to join our store leadership team as Assistant Managers. This position involves overseeing the daily operations of a single restaurant location, ensuring excellent guest experiences while driving financial performance. You will lead, hire, and manage associates with guidance from a comprehensive leadership training program.

Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager, your main duties encompass managing store operations including hiring staff, directing team members towards achieving business goals, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Possess at least a high school diploma.
• Flexibility to relocate to a store within 50 miles of your residence.
• Availability for a flexible schedule including opening and closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational demands.
• Certification in Food Safety, specifically Serve Safe certification.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

The work environment involves standing for extended periods, exposure to hot and steamy conditions, working with kitchen equipment such as Chinese cook knives, and requiring the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Effective verbal communication and adaptability to a fast-paced, noisy environment are essential.

Training and Development

You will complete a paid leadership training program lasting three or more weeks to prepare you for success in your role.
