Position Overview

As an Assistant Manager, you will support the day-to-day operations of a single Panda Express store. Your responsibilities include recruiting, directing, and managing team members to meet financial objectives while ensuring outstanding guest service. You will receive extensive training, including at least three weeks of leadership development, mentorship, and ongoing support to prepare you for success in your role.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing store operations to fulfill financial and customer service targets.
• Lead hiring and onboarding of new associates.
• Supervise and guide team members to deliver superior guest experiences.
• Participate in continuous leadership and career development programs.

Desired Skills and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Serve Safe certification for food safety compliance.
• Flexibility to relocate within a 50-mile radius if necessary.
• Availability to work varied schedules including opening/closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays according to business demands.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

This role requires standing for extended periods (up to four hours), working in hot environments with steam and food vapors, and the capability to lift up to 50 pounds. Employees must handle kitchen tools such as Chinese cook knives and work efficiently under fast-paced, high-noise conditions with limited storage space and elevated shelving.
