About the Role
Panda Express is seeking experienced leaders to take on the role of Assistant Manager within our store management team. We prioritize the growth and success of our team members by providing paid leadership training, ongoing mentorship, and community support. This position involves assisting in the operations of a single restaurant location to help achieve financial goals and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Manager, you will hire, manage, and guide associates to meet store objectives. You will be instrumental in driving store success and will receive over three weeks of leadership training to prepare you effectively for the role.

Qualifications
- A high school diploma is required
- Flexibility to relocate within a 50-mile radius of residence if needed
- Availability for a flexible schedule including openings, closings, evenings, weekends, and holidays in response to business needs
- Food safety certification (Serve Safe) is mandatory
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
The work environment involves exposure to heat and steam in kitchen areas with limited space. Employees are expected to stand for extended periods, prepare various foods, use kitchen tools such as Chinese cook knives, and handle lifting up to 50 pounds. The job demands effective communication skills, adaptability to a dynamic environment, and the ability to handle conflicts professionally.

Pay Details
The hourly wage range is $24 to $27, dependent on location and experience. Bonus payments are not guaranteed and may be modified or discontinued by the company at any time.
