Role Overview
The Shift Manager plays a pivotal role in leading and inspiring team members to consistently deliver an outstanding quick service restaurant experience. This position prioritizes people, fostering a positive culture that motivates staff, enhancing guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Motivate and guide a team to cultivate pride and a culture aligned with delivering top-tier quick service restaurant experiences.
- Ensure a safe, secure, and hygienic environment for guests, employees, and oneself.
- Oversee and lead Managers and Crew members, supporting their growth and performance.
- Engage with local community events to enhance the restaurant's positive impact.
- Maintain rigorous cleanliness standards following recognized procedures.
- Drive sales and profitability to support professional and financial advancement.
Candidate Profile
While prior experience in food service or retail roles such as barista, server, sales associate, cashier, team member, or managerial positions is advantageous, the most critical attributes are strong leadership by example, accountability, high personal and team standards, confident problem-solving, and a people-focused approach.
