Overview
This role is with a McDonald's restaurant run by an independent franchisee, separate from McDonald's USA, which means all employment matters including hiring and management are handled solely by the franchisee. The General Manager is key to operating a profitable restaurant while upholding high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness as set by McDonald's.
Role and Responsibilities
- Oversee restaurant profitability and enforce McDonald’s critical standards for quality, service, and cleanliness.
- Collaborate with leadership to set and execute goals for the restaurant’s success.
- Lead and support a team of Department Managers by helping them establish their own objectives and providing coaching to enhance their departments.
- Manage hiring and development efforts for Department and Shift Managers to maintain a capable leadership team.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Previous experience as a General Manager, preferably with high-volume quick-service restaurants, hospitality, or retail environments.
- Must be at least 18 years old to hold a managerial position in corporate-owned restaurants.
