About the Role
Join an industry-leading team at Panda Express as an Assistant Manager. You will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of a single restaurant location. Your responsibilities include hiring staff, managing associates, and steering the store towards its financial targets while ensuring outstanding guest service. To prepare you for success, a comprehensive leadership training of at least 3 weeks will be provided, covering all critical aspects of store management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the overall operation and management of a single store location.
- Recruit, manage, and direct associates towards meeting financial and service goals.
- Ensure delivery of excellent customer experiences consistently.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma is mandatory.
- Flexibility to relocate within a 50-mile radius if necessary.
- Availability for a flexible schedule including opening and closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays according to business requirements.
- Food Safety certification such as Serve Safe is required.
Work Conditions and Physical Requirements
The role requires standing for extended periods, sometimes in hot and noisy environments. Tasks include preparing hot and cold foods, safely handling specialized kitchen tools, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Effective communication, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and conflict management skills are also essential.
