Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager, you will aid in managing the daily operations of a single Panda Express store. Your duties will encompass recruiting, supervising, and guiding associates to meet financial objectives and consistently deliver outstanding guest experiences. To equip you for this role, a comprehensive store leadership training program lasting three or more weeks will be provided.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory
• Willingness to relocate within a 50-mile radius of your home, if required
• Availability to work a flexible schedule encompassing opening and closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business demands
• Certification in Food Safety (Serve Safe)

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires standing for extended periods, often in hot, steamy environments with food vapors. You will engage in preparing both hot and cold foods using kitchen tools such as Chinese cook knives. The job demands lifting up to 50 pounds, working in fast-paced and noisy settings, and reaching across counters approximately 36 inches high to serve customers. Strong verbal communication skills, adaptability to shifting priorities, and conflict management abilities are essential.

Compensation Details

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $23.00 to $32.20. Individual pay within this range depends on factors like location and experience. Bonus eligibility is subject to company discretion and may be modified or discontinued without notice.
