Role Summary

Join a local Shoppers Drug Mart to support delivering health, beauty, and convenience services, always placing the customer first. Assist the Front Store Manager by overseeing store resources and operations to meet objectives through efficient product flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain store standards to enhance customer experience, increase traffic, and boost profitability.
• Collaborate with management to ensure store and backroom standards are consistently upheld.
• Support labor scheduling and maximize labor efficiency using Work Force Management tools.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels for smooth store operations.

Human Resources Duties

• Follow human resources policies and standards.
• Assist the FSM with hiring for all departments except Pharmacy.
• Manage wage administration adhering to company guidelines.
• Promote company culture by engaging and motivating staff aligned with core values.

Qualifications and Skills

• Skills in planning, inventory management, and exercising sound judgment for expense control.
• Ability to provide leadership, mentorship, and foster staff development.
• Effective time management and prioritizing in a dynamic environment.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities.

Experience

• Prior retail management experience demonstrating the ability to lead by example and support corporate initiatives.
• Excellent interpersonal, coaching, communication skills, and relationship-building with internal/external stakeholders.
• Sound business and financial insight.
