About the Role
We are seeking candidates interested in maintaining close ties with scientific research by assisting researchers globally in publishing their latest findings. This full-time position is based in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the editorial workflow for academic journals within your area of expertise.
- Manage the peer review system for submitted research papers and coordinate editorial verdicts.
- Handle communications via email among all parties involved in the publication cycle.
- Work collaboratively with editorial and production teams.
- Ensure scholarly articles are edited accurately and published punctually, maintaining high consistency.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a PhD in fields such as Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Materials Science, Agriculture, Medicine and Pharmacy, Ecology and Environmental Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities, Linguistics, or Education Science.
- Proficient with MS Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Effective communication and coordination skills.
- Previous experience in research or laboratory work relevant to academic fields.
- Familiarity with the academic peer review process is advantageous.
- Experience in scholarly publishing is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Attendance at academic conferences and a solid professional network are positives.
- Editorial experience is preferred; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
