Role Overview
As an Architectural Technologist, you will be a vital member of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, contributing to the technical development, coordination, and execution of projects across design development to construction phases. You will operate within a BIM-driven environment, preparing and coordinating architectural drawings, Revit models, schedules, and technical documentation at all stages. Your responsibilities include developing detailed construction details and tender packages, liaising with consultants, and supporting project delivery through design, tender, and construction.
You will actively participate in design meetings, maintain client and contractor communications, and ensure project information aligns with BIM and quality standards. Additionally, resolving technical and coordination challenges during project cycles is part of your role. This position involves working on medium to large scale residential, mixed-use, commercial, and industrial projects, offering growth in your technical skills in an innovative and cooperative setting. You will report directly to the Directors who will create a tailored career progression plan for you.
Qualifications and Experience
- Recognized qualification in Architectural Technology or a related field.
- At least two years of professional experience within architectural practices in Ireland or the UK.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and experience in BIM-based project workflows.
- Solid technical understanding of architectural detailing, construction techniques, and materials.
- Experience in producing coordinated technical and construction documentation.
- Familiarity with relevant Irish and/or UK building regulations and construction standards.
- Capability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary design teams and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with residential, mixed-use, commercial, or industrial architecture projects.
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 and BIM information management standards.
- Experience with Common Data Environments (CDE) for managing project information.
- Interest in sustainable design, technical innovation, and digital project delivery methods.
