Application Support Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Application Support Engineer with a minimum of two years' experience and a bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields. The role focuses on supporting the implementation, daily maintenance, and service delivery of SAP and Microsoft applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 support including troubleshooting and resolving incidents related to SAP and Microsoft applications.
• Assist with application implementation, configuration, system upgrades, and operational tasks.
• Oversee monitoring of application performance, availability, and system operations to ensure optimal functioning.
• Conduct incident analysis and root cause investigations to facilitate effective resolution.
• Handle service requests, incidents, and change management processes adhering to ITIL standards.
• Collaborate effectively with vendors, infrastructure, development teams, and business stakeholders.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and established support workflows.
• Support application releases through testing, deployment, and ensuring production readiness.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Over two years of experience providing application support.
• Proficient knowledge of SAP and Microsoft application ecosystems.
• Experience with ITIL service management practices, ideally holding an ITIL Foundation certification.
• Preferred certifications include Microsoft Fundamentals such as MS-900.
